While strolling through SouthPark to pick out some anniversary prezzies for hubby, I spied the cutest little swimsuit on display in Lilly Pulitzer’s window. When I walked in to try it on the sale’s associate told me it had matching shorts. I thought they’d be perfect to slip on while walking around the pool deck to buy snacks or taking your kids to the potty for the millionth time. It comes with two additional straps to go across your shoulders for additional support but I elected to leave them off (at least for the photos!).

I also resisted the urge to correct all my dimples and leave them for you to see. One of my greatest desires for this blog was not to create another unobtainable “perfect feed”, so here you go. This is me with all my insecurities for you to see. No perfect bod here, but that doesn’t stop me from feeling good in this suit. Don’t let your pursuit of perfection keep you from feeling fab in your own skin.
